Alisha Patrick has been riding, showing and training horses since a very early age. Alisha has many years of dressage, western pleasure and trail class showings to her name. It was evident from the start that Alisha would pursue a career in the horse industry.
Growing up in Florida, Alisha also spent a number of years in Colorado. There Alisha worked as a high-country guide for different outfitters along the Continental Divide. With
family involved in various performance-horse disciplines, Alisha continued to learn a wide array of horsemanship skills.
In 2004 Alisha met Sean while studying under John
Lyons in Parachute, Colorado. One year later the two
were married on a snowy January day in Canada; it was at
that time Alisha encouraged Sean to leave the polar
bears for alligators.
Alisha has a wonderful way with horses and her training approach is such that her horses are extremely trusting and sweet. Alisha is a great instructor and is able to not only explain the steps, but demonstrate them in such a natural way.
Alisha is focusing her talents towards the
pleasure-class horses as well as horsemanship instruction. She
is also an excellent photographer and helps with the
many magazine articles. Alisha gave birth to her
first on June 12th, 2009...Madilyn Nicole Patrick. |
