| about alisha Alisha Patrick has been riding, showing and training horses since a very early age and has many years of dressage, western pleasure, hunt seat and trail class showings to her name. It was evident from the start that she would pursue a career in the horse industry. Growing up in Florida, Alisha also spent a number of years in Colorado. There she worked as a high-country guide for different outfitters along the Continental Divide. With family involved in various performance-horse disciplines, she continued to learn a wide array of horsemanship skills. In 2004, she met Sean while studying under John Lyons in Parachute, Colorado. |
One year later the two were married on a snowy January day in Canada; it was at that time she encouraged her new husband to leave the grizzly bears for alligators. Alisha has a wonderful way with horses and her training approach is such that her horses are extremely trusting and sweet. She is a great instructor and is able to not only explain the steps, but demonstrate them in a natural way. Now focusing on pleasure-class and all-around performance horses, she also helps with the horsemanship instruction. In addition to horses, she is also an excellent photographer and helps with many magazine articles. Alisha gave birth to their first child in June, 2009 ... Madilyn Nicole Patrick. |
